Kitty Clubbers! One of you (Rose Marie W, thanks!) sent me the perfect picture of the Sisters Spooky and Venus:
I couldn’t resist. I had to post this video, one of my favorite songs, one my best friend and I used to sing together. From “White Christmas” I present Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen singing “Sisters.” Imagine Spooky and Venus in their places.

One of my favorite movies! It would be fun to see Spooky and Venus in those roles! But who is who?
Vera Ellen is the one with the super teeny tiny waist. She’s more of a dancer, she didn’t do her own singing. Rosemary Clooney was a well-known singer in the 50s and 60s. I saw her with Linda Ronstadt back in the 90s (it was the first time my hubby got to meet Linda – he is a HUGE fan).
Well, since Rosemary Clooney had the darker hair, I think that she would be the “Spooky” counterpart, with Vera Ellen the “Venus” of the pair.
Indeed!
