I received this from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and if you’re a bird lover, you’ll want to subscribe to their newsletter. Cornell offers many wonderful videos about birds including live cams of nesting birds. I’ll feature their best one after we expose the secret lives of your favorite backyard birds!
This recap of the summer live cam of nesting Great Blue Herons is amazing. My favorite part is when the two birds are building the nest. It’s amazing that we can actually see how baby birds are raised from nest building to the final flight from the nest. Enjoy!
The Cornell Lab of Ornithology has 70 videos detailing the lives of birds on YouTube which I highly recommend.
Birds are some of God’s most fascinating creatures.

Susan, thanks for sharing the birds and the bird site. One of the many things I miss from Seven Kittens is the sound of birds coming from outside Jen and Kara’s window.
Awww. Cats and birds don’t always go together (unless the cat is indoors and then it’s really fun). I love hearing them chatter.
