February 28, 2016–Lenten presentation (A Journey Within) at Our Lady of Good Counsel, West Boylston, MA
“The Journey Within: Seeing ourselves in God’s eyes by following the path of Jesus was presented by Susan Bailey at our church during Lent. Susan gave us her unique perspective in following our Lord in a journey of self-discovery.
The hour long presentation went quickly with Susan putting our group at ease and promoting some good discussion and insights in how to live our Christian walk more deeply. There was time for song and self reflection that was beneficial. If you want to know yourself, to make changes in your life so that you find the victory and peace you need let Susan help you using her creative flow lessons from her book River of Grace.”

“The Women of St. Luke’s Parish recently had Susan Bailey as our guest speaker at our Communion Breakfast. It is with great joy that I recommend you have Susan come to your event. She has a gift of bringing her beautiful stories to life and with her talent for singing and song writing you can’t help but feel a spiritual connection to God. Absolutely wonderful!”

December 14, 2016–Advent Presentation with music
(Talk “How Advent Saved My Christmas”)
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Westfield, MA
While Susan shared part of her life, books and music with us the room was totally quiet. I cannot praise her captivating music enough when she was singing. Her book is awe inspiring and so is her music. She was able to touch a core in you that opened you up to areas in your life that needed healing and a special touch from our Lord. When walking with the Lord and being open to others sharing their story, listening to Susan allows you to accept yourself as the wonderful person God created you to be.
When Susan stopped talking you could hear a pin drop. Everyone wanted to spend a little more time in this stillness where Susan led us. A stillness that we all need so much in this noisy world.
It was truly preparing for the birth of Christ in each one of us.”
Brunhilde Luken, past member Commission for Women of the Diocese of Worcester, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Westfield, MA
May 19, 2015–WINGS Worcester Spring Season Kickoff
(Talk “Let’s Go Swimming! Diving more deeply into our faith”)
Church of Christ the King, Worcester, MA
“Thank you for coming to our WINGS group at Christ the King and sharing your message about diving deeper into our faith; it fit perfectly with our theme of keeping Pentecost alive in our everyday lives and was a great kick-off to our spring season!
Not only were we inspired by your message, but your gift of music brought our gathering to another level. The Holy Spirit moves through your music and touches others
in a very special way, and we are grateful for your willingness to share your time and talents with us.
God bless you, Susan. It is ministries like yours that keeps the Holy Spirit alive and moving in our otherwise secular world. As “Women In God’s Spirit,” your message inspired us to share our gifts with others. After all, it is more important to give than to receive. Sharing our gifts is a very important way to keep Pentecost alive each and every day, and we thank you for sharing yours with us.“

“Thank you so much for your inspiring presentation at our annual Women’s Club Communion Breakfast on April 19th. Everyone enjoyed your topic: “Let’s go swimming! Diving more deeply into our faith.” Combining your thoughtful insights with your beautiful singing made it the perfect presentation for our members. I got so much positive feed back from the attendees after the event.
We will all be keeping a watch for the release of your first book, “River of Grace: Creative Passages Through Difficult Times.” What a wonderful achievement. We wish you all the best as you continue your professional speaking and singing career.”

March 30, 2015–Presentation to Confirmation Students
(Talk “Let’s Go Swimming! Diving more deeply into our faith”)
St. Luke the Evangelist Church, Westborough, MA
“I am writing this letter of recommendation for Susan Bailey. Last evening she was our presenter at a confirmation class of high school juniors. Her topic was ‘Going Forward’ with regards to post confirmation growth in our faith. She was excellent. She stayed on topic, was very interesting, and her delivery was engaging. She had the kids sing a song with her at one point. They really got into it. She also gave them two resource sheets to help guide them in their faith journey.
It is obvious when you listen to Susan how much she loves her faith and lives it! She is well versed in Catholic teachings and knows how to communicate interestingly and targeting her audience. I highly recommend Susan as a speaker. She is phenomenal in all ways!”

June 11, 2011–Becoming a Beautiful Godly Woman
Morning Retreat Day for women at St. Theresa’s, Henniker, NH
“Susan Bailey and Ann Wagstaff were the presenters at St. Theresa Parish in Henniker, NH’s Women’s Ministries morning retreat on June 11, 2011. The theme was, “What makes a godly woman beautiful?”
Susan led the music at Holy Mass, offering her beautiful voice in worship for all of us. She is a gifted musician. Susan shared what the holy women of Scripture believed to be true beauty.
The presentations were interactive and visual. We even enjoyed making beaded bracelets to symbolize some of the holy women.
Susan and Ann came to Henniker to meet with me to plan the morning retreat and we continued the planning effectively through email. They are both prayerful Catholic women who enjoy sharing Christ with others.”

May 1, 2010–NH Women’s Conference (Sung Rosary)
View sample:
“Thank you so much for participating in the NH Women’s Conference on May 1st. We wanted to have a prayerful day and to bring appropriate honor to Our Lady. This was wonderfully done by interweaving your sung rosary into the program. Everyone appreciated how we had a time of prayer, singing a decade of the rosary, before each speaker. This was a time to slow down our minds, gather as one body and prepare our hearts for the next message. The speakers especially appreciated a prayerful introduction to their talk.
We have received many accolades for the day. There was praise for all the music, but especially for the sung rosary. Not only did the attendees leave pondering the Truth, but have returned home with a “new tool,” a tune for singing the rosary.

March 28, 2007–Day of Reconciliation (Talk: “Discovering and Using Your Gifts”)
Mary, Mother of Peace Parish, Millsboro, DE
Feedback from participants:“Susan’s talk [on discovering and using your gifts] was wonderful as well and was meant for my ears that day. My daughter came with me and she said it was just what she needed right now in her life. I left there feeling so wonderful to be Catholic.”
“I liked how Susan kept everyone’s interest, made me want to make everyday of my life happy and to invite God into it.”
“Susan Bailey was good and her music is beautiful … ‘Simon Son of John’ made me cry.”
“Singing the rosary was the best event of the day. Susan has written a beautiful Rosary.”
“The day was very helpful on our journey of life. You could feel the holiness.”
“It was very emotional lots of food for thought. Music and the stories told [were] very meaningful. [I was reminded] that God forgave me and I need to forgive myself. Susan’s song on forgiveness summed up the day for me.”
“Group Prayer and singing the rosary made me feel everything was balance and led to a Blessed reconciliation.”
December, 2005–Advent concert
Mary, Mother of Peace Church, Millsboro, DE
“Meeting Susan and spending a day with her enabled me to see the beauty of the person that sings with the angels. With Susan we were able to draw about two hundred and fifty people from three parishes and other Christian denominations. Her ability to pray while singing her songs was received with standing ovations.
I believe that Susan has a gift that few people/artists possess. She has the ability to sing with the angels and the saints while showing adoration to both Our Lord and Our Lady. The richness of her music is not only found in her songs and voice but also in the prayerful manner in which she presents it.
In conclusion, as Susan finished her concert we sold every CD that I had asked her to bring with her. Our parish is planning on singing her songs as well as asking her to return next year. It is without hesitation that I recommend Susan Bailey for whatever God wills her to do.”

November, 2000–Advent presentation
Marlboro Community Life Teen, Marlboro, MA
“We had Susan come to do Life Night for our Life Teen teens. She did a special night for them on Advent. When the teens came into the room they weren’t sure of what to expect. They sat down and started listening to the music she was playing. Susan told the story of her own personal journey and struggles – especially through this season. By the end of the night, the teens were clapping and dancing and truly experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in the room and in their lives during those moments.Susan has a way of bringing awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit in a way most can relate to – in the every day occurrences of life. Her message is always one of Love – Loving God, Loving each other, and accepting that Love from others.
The music she has written and recorded is uplifting, helps you to pray and makes you think about finding God in the ordinary life. After listening to one of her CD’s, one finds themselves singing the songs all day long!!!
One of the teens said to me one day – “I love that CD … I especially like the song ‘Teach Me to Love …’ This is exactly what our teens, and in general, people want – to know how to love.
Give yourself/your ministry/your friends/your family a gift: Bring Susan Bailey to your parish and see for yourself.”
